Your personal information is being collected by Wyndham City Council to assess your participation in the Awesome April Competition. Your information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and used to identify you when communicating with Council. By registering your details, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as stated in the Terms and Conditions. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). Have you borrowed an item from Wyndham City Libraries? (required)

To be eligible to enter the competition, you must have borrowed at least one item from Wyndham City Libraries.  As you have not borrowed an item, unfortunately your entry cannot be accepted.

Declaration
  1. This competition is run by Wyndham City Council (‘Council’) in the state of Victoria, Australia only.
     
  2. By entering this competition, you agree to accept these terms and conditions of entry.  If your entry does not comply with these entries, it is not valid and will not be accepted.
     
  3. Entry is restricted to Victorian residents who are not an existing Wyndham City Libraries member.  Council staff, Councillors and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
     
  4. Entrants aged under 18 must have their parent or legal guardian’s consent to enter the competition. Entrants acknowledge that Council may contact their parent or legal guardian using the contact details provided in their entry form for the purpose of ensuring that consent has been provided.
     
  5. To enter the competition, between 12:01 am on 1 April 2024 and 11:59pm on 30 April 2024, entrants must:

    a) join as a member of Wyndham City Libraries;

    b) borrow an item from Wyndham City Libraries; and

    c) submit a properly completed entry form either online via Council’s website or in hard copy at any Wyndham City Libraries branch during opening hours.

         Entries received outside of this period will not be accepted.

  1. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
     
  2. The competition will be drawn at 10:00am on 6 May 2024.  The first four valid entries drawn at random will be declared the competition winners and will each receive a $150 Pacific Werribee gift card (total prize pool valued at $600).  Refer to Pacific Werribee’s website for terms and conditions for the redemption of gift cards.
     
  3. Winners will be contacted no later than 12:00pm on 7 May 2024.
     
  4. If a winner cannot be contacted by 12:00pm on 13 May 2024, Council may conduct a further draw to determine a new winner.
     
  5. If a prize has not been claimed by 12:00pm on 24 May 2024, the winner will be deemed to have surrendered the prize and Council may conduct a further draw to award the unclaimed prize.
     
  6. Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, corrupt or invalid entries.
     
  7. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
     
  8. Council may require winners to provide evidence of their identity and/or proof of address in order to claim their prize.
     
  9. If for any reason the competition cannot be run as planned, Council reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
     
  10. Council reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, without notice to you.
     
  11. Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
