Are you interested in growing your own food? Learn one of the most valuable skills a gardener can have – saving your own seeds! Saving seeds from your own garden or other produce will help you grow stronger plants, save money and even increase your garden’s harvest. Best of all, it’s easy and fun. This session will cover how to select, collect, process and stores seeds for best results, and troubleshoot common errors.

About the presenter:

Sunita’s backyard is a food forest which has even been featured on Gardening Australia. She started gardening during the lockdowns of 2020 and never looked back. Her garden is a great example of what you can achieve in a small space with creative thinking and organic gardening practices. She’s also a regular donor of seeds to Wyndham’s seed library.

Wyndham's seed library is free to join and can be accessed with your regular Wyndham library card. You can receive one free packet of seeds per month, and up to three per month if you donate your own seeds to the library.
