Drawing Workshop with Dean Rankine - Werribee Library - School Holiday Session

Join Comic Book Artist and Writer Dean Rankine (Simpsons Comics, Futurama, Rick and Morty, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Death Metal Emo Elves) in a fun, hands-on comic workshop. Starting with basic shapes, facial expressions and ending with a full comic page.

Topics covered:

• How to draw better stick figures.
• Facial expressions (using fruit and vegetables)
• Colour and Shape theory.
• Create fun characters.
• Camera ‘shots’.
• Speech Bubbles and Thought Balloons.
• Draw your own comic!

This activity is ticketed on the day and not booked in advance. Free tickets will be issued 30 minutes before on a first come first served basis. Tickets must be obtained in person at the library. Once all tickets are issued there will be no further spaces for the event.
