Wyndham City Council is conducting a Request for Application in partnership with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) to seek formal applications from suitable organisations for the opportunity to manage and activate the Jamieson Way Community Centre and Sporting Hall, located within the Jamieson Way Reserve in Point Cook.
The Jamieson Way Community Centre will operate in accordance with the Victorian Government Neighbourhood House Coordination Program (NHCP), which requires:
- Engaging with the local community to identify priorities
- Leading community development initiatives
- Ensuring equitable access through programs, activities, and room hire
The Sporting Hall will support a broad range of sporting clubs and community groups, delivering equitable access for a diverse program of activities. The Sporting Hall is currently under construction, due for completion in April 2026.
