Join Us for the Wyndham Multicultural Lunar Festival 2026. A Truly Interactive and Eco-Friendly Cultural Celebration!

Point Cook, VIC - Get ready for one of Wyndham’s most cherished community celebrations as the Wyndham Multicultural Lunar Festival 2026 returns on

Sunday, 1 March 2026, at the vibrant Point Cook Town Centre.

Proudly presented by the Point Cook Cultural Community (PCCC), this year’s festival places a special focus on cultural interaction, community connection, and environmental responsibility.

From 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, audiences will enjoy a full day of spectacular multicultural performances, hands-on cultural experiences, and a diverse international market—all with free admission.

A Global Celebration of Culture
Nearly 400 performers from more than a dozen countries will take to the stage throughout the day, presenting an exciting program of:
• Traditional Chinese Dragon and Lion Dances
• International folk dances and vocal performances
• Instrumental music, martial arts, acrobatics, and magic

2026 Special Feature: Live Interaction with the Audience
A major highlight of the 2026 festival is its strong focus on audience participation, bringing culture off the stage and into real-time interaction:

• Chinese Tea Art “Cha Bai Xi” (Tea Hundred Variations)
After the stage performance, artists will move to the PCCC booth to demonstrate the ancient art up close and invite the public to experience this remarkable form of tea painting firsthand.

• Tai Chi & Qigong Live Teaching Session
The Tai Chi & Qigong performance will include on-site instruction, encouraging audience members to join in and experience the flow, balance, and wellness of this traditional Chinese practice.

• Hands-On Cultural Workshops
Family-friendly workshops and cultural activities will also be available throughout the day, offering creative and educational experiences for all ages.

A Bigger & More Diverse Multicultural Market
The festival market will showcase a wide range of:
• International street food and local specialties
• Handmade crafts and cultural products
• Traditional and contemporary clothing
• Unique gifts and souvenirs

From authentic Chinese flavours to cuisines from across the world, visitors will be treated to a true global food and shopping experience.

An Eco-Friendly Celebration — No Fireworks in 2026
In support of environmental sustainability, there will be no fireworks display at the 2026 festival.
PCCC is proud to take this responsible step in reducing environmental impact, while continuing to create a vibrant, meaningful, and joyful community celebration through culture and connection.

A Family-Friendly Festival for Everyone
The Wyndham Multicultural Lunar Festival is designed for all generations—whether you are bringing children for interactive activities, enjoying performances with friends, or simply soaking up the festive atmosphere, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
