Reducing traffic congestion and improving road safety is a key focus for Council, and through our Connecting Wyndham program we’re investing heavily in a series of road projects to support our rapidly growing suburbs.
Spanning major projects, road reconstructions, road surface renewals, active transport and transport advocacy, Connecting Wyndham is the largest local government investment in road infrastructure in Wyndham’s history.
Connecting Wyndham is not just about building roads – it’s about connecting people to jobs, schools, parks and services more safely and efficiently than ever before.
Connecting Wyndham … getting you home sooner and safer.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes on roads projects before construction begins.
Road projects go through a detailed planning and design process that includes investigating existing conditions, developing concept designs, and consulting with key stakeholders to ensure the design meets community needs and safety standards. In many cases, road projects also require external approvals for service utilities, cultural heritage, flora and fauna and more. Final designs are then prepared, costed, and approved before works begin on site.
Please note, timing and delivery of these projects is subject to future funding, evolving project needs and other key factors.
