Live music returns to parks and public spaces across Wyndham with our latest offering of arts programming. Sunset Sounds is a 3 series program of live music featuring headline acts as well as the best of Wyndham’s live local scene.

What’s On? A live music program of local and headline acts in neighbourhoods across Wyndham.

Is it free? Yes! Sunset Sounds is a free series of events run by Wyndham City Council.

Do I need a ticket? No you do not require a ticket to attend, but you will be required to check in with a QR code on your phone when you arrive. The event has a limited capacity

What time do I arrive? The official program will start at 7pm but you are welcome to arrive from 6pm.

How do I get there? Is there parking? This event is being held in local parks so we recommend going to your closest one where you can probably walk or ride to. If you do need to drive, there will be limited parking available in surrounding streets.

What are the rules around children? Can I bring them to the event? Yes, Sunset Sounds is family friendly and children are welcome to attend with their families or carers. Please make sure you supervise your children at all time.

Will there be toilets? Yes, each park will have toilets including accessible units with baby change facilities.

Can I bring food? Yes! You are welcome to BYO food and drinks, there will be onsite snacks available for purchase with cashless facilities. BYO alcohol is NOT permitted.

Is there water available? Some of the park locations have water taps, but some do not, please bring your own water bottle to be sure.

Can I bring my dog? Yes, you can, but please ensure it is supervised at all times and remains on a lead. Please clean up after your dog.

Will it run if it is raining or hot? Please come prepared for all weather. If we determine the weather is extreme the events may be cancelled for safety. We will endeavour to communicate any cancellation via Wyndham City’s social media pages.

What are the rules about being CovidSafe?

Current Victoria State Government restrictions apply. Stay home if you are unwell and please remember to maintain safe distances from other.

COVID-19 response

Any restrictions or regulations will be in place in accordance with the current Victoria State Government guidelines available at the DHHS website.

These include but are not limited to:

  • If you have any cold-like symptoms, including a runny nose, sore throat, chills, fever, lack of taste or smell, do not come to Sunset Sounds. Please get tested or see your Doctor.
  • To assist with contact tracing all visitors will be required to scan the QR codes on entry and fill-in the corresponding online form. Only one adult per household group is required to check in.
  • As the event is held outdoors, visitors are not required to wear a mask except where physical distancing cannot be maintained. Visitors are required to carry a mask at all times.
  • Frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitiser is encouraged. Facilities will be provided onsite.
  • Please remain in social group numbers no greater than current guidelines.

We have determined the capacity of each venue based on current Victoria State Government guidelines and in the unlikely event the park reaches capacity levels further admissions will not be permitted.

Voluntary download of the COVIDSafe app is recommended.

Anyone refusing to obey the restrictions outlined above or the direction of staff or management will be asked to leave.
