Nicky Bomba's Bustamento: Pop Up Park

Free live music under the stars?

Friday nights have never looked so good!

Bring a picnic blanket and relax in the Pop Up Park this summer, with all-ages concerts every Friday night from 18 January – 24 February including major headline acts and local talent.

Enjoy the ultimate summer soundtrack with Bustamento’s Caribbean beats, including Calypso, Mento, Early Reggae and Ska styles, all with an international flavour!

Nicky Bomba is one of Australia's busiest and most highly respected musicians, performing with his band Bomba, conducting the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, playing drums for John Butler Trio and now with the ARIA-nominated Bustamento.

Supporting local artists will include the Ashleigh Watson Duo with their sweet soul and Motown vibes and Soul Chic.

The fun starts at 6pm – bring the kids and catch up with friends.

6pm - 7pm: Lewis Pidutti

7.15pm - 8.15pm: Soul Chic

8.30pm - 9.30pm: Nicky Bomba’s Bustamento

Food and Drinks

Hungry? Enjoy an early dinner at one of the many restaurants and cafes in Werribee City Centre or order to go and enjoy your meal alfresco in the Pop Up Park.

You’re welcome to bring your own picnic and non-alcoholic drinks into the park. A licensed bar will provide alcoholic beverages for purchase on the night, however BYO alcohol is not permitted.

Event Seating

Visitors are encouraged to bring along picnic blankets, low-backed chairs, or settle in on the grass. Seating is not allocated so please keep your neighbours and their view in mind. During Friday Night Live concerts, you’ll find there’s a whole lot of fun and dancing front of stage, especially as the night wears on. You may like to think about what you’re keen to do during the night, when you settle in.
