ASD PlayGym with Werribee Gymnastics Club

ASD PlayGym sessions are specifically for 18 month to 6 year old children with autism. We understand finding a class that is welcoming and suitable for a child with autism can sometimes be difficult, however that this doesn't mean children and their families should miss out. 

ASD PlayGym sessions are are all about children having fun and exploring a range of gross motor skills at their own pace. Each session a qualified KinderGym Coach will set up a variety of activities using the gymnastics equipment. Children can then freely explore the activities, with lots of opportunities to balance, roll, jump, swing, hang and climb!

To make these sessions ASD friendly we have included a number of modifications;

• No music will play during the session
• A sensory calm down tent is available
• Classes are limited to 10 children
• All families participating will have a child with autism; therefore the other parents will understand the struggles children and their families can face
