Wyndham City has a strong track record of delivering quality Major events for the region. The dedicated events team at Wyndham maintains a focus on attracting visitors through the region by staging major events. Wyndham City Council’s event portfolio includes:

  • Wyndham Pet & Animal Expo – Sunday 11 September 2016
  • Children’s Week Picnic – Sunday 23 October 2016
  • State Rose and Garden Show – Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 November  2016
  • Australia Day – Thursday 26 January 2017.

Fromage a Trois 2017

Wyndham City would like to thank you for your interest in the Fromage a Trois event.

We appreciate your patience as we have been making every effort to bring you Fromage a Trois this year, however various factors have meant this event will be postponed for 2017.

Whilst Fromage a Trois is taking a well-deserved break, Wyndham City will also take this time to undertake a review of the major events that Wyndham City delivers, paving the way for exciting events produced in the future.

We would sincerely like to thank all our loyal patrons and supporters of this event over the last 3 years and appreciate your understanding. Watch this space for future news on Wyndham City events!

Food Vendor Application Process

Applications for this years major event season have now closed. For more event information please contact the Major Events team on events@wyndham.vic.gov.au

To be considered as a food vendor at a Wyndham City Major Event, you must submit a Food Vendor Application Form to the major events team for the 2016-2017 season. On the application you can indicate which events you would like to apply for. After the application cut off, all applications will be assessed and you will be notified of your success. The application timelines for 2016 are as follows:

Applications Open

Monday 20 June 2016

Applications Close

Sunday 31 July 2016

Applications Assessed

Week commencing Monday 1 August 2016

Applicants Notified

Week commencing Monday 8 August 2016

Successful Applicants

Successful applicants will be notified of their successful applications. Once the applicant confirms they are still available for the event they have been successful for, an invoice for the site fee will be posted out which must be paid no later than 30 days before the event.

Unsuccessful Applicants

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified of their unsuccessful application and where possible provided feedback on why their application has been unsuccessful. No further applications or food vendors will be sought after this application process for the 2016-2017 season unless we have a cancellation.

Healthy Food & Drinks

Wyndham City is committed to supporting the health of our residents and visitors by making healthy food and drink choices easier at our events. We are also committed to supporting Food Vendors to make changes to their menus if required, in order to offer healthy options. As part of this, Food Vendors should observe the following document before submitting an application:

Sugary Drink Free Events

As part of our commitment to healthier food and drink choices, some of our major events will now be Sugary Drink Free.  This means that at certain events, vendors must ensure the drinks they offer for sale are in line with the Victorian Government’s Healthy Choices Guidelines. An Approved Drinks List can be found in the attached Menu Guide for Food Vendors document.   

The following 2016-2017 events will be Sugary Drink Free:

  • Wyndham Pet & Animal Expo – Sunday 11 September 2016
  • Children’s Week Picnic – Sunday 23 October 2016
  • Australia Day Celebrations – Thursday 26 January 2017

Please ensure you are able to meet the requirements of our Sugary Drink Free events before submitting your application.

Food Safety & Streatrader

All exhibitors providing food or beverage products must be registered with Streatrader and must comply with the requirements of the Food Standards code.
