SUMMER READING CLUB COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- This competition is run by Wyndham City Council in the state of Victoria, Australia only.
- By submitting an entry to this competition on behalf of your child, you:
(a) confirm that you are the entrant’s parent or legal guardian (‘parent’);
(b) consent to your child entering this competition; and
(c) accept these terms and conditions of entry.
- Entries which do not comply with these terms and conditions will not be valid and will not be accepted.
- Entrants must be aged between 5 and 12 and be a member of Wyndham City Libraries. Council staff, Councillors and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
- The competition opens at 9:00am on 1 December 2020 and closes at 5:00pm on 31 January 2021 (‘competition period’). Entries received outside of this period will not be accepted.
- To enter the competition, during the competition period, you must:
(a) upload an image of your child’s completed reading map and submit a properly completed online entry form at [https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/services/libraries/kids/summer-reading-c…]; or
(b) submit your child’s completed reading map and properly completed hard copy entry form at a Wyndham City Libraries branch during opening hours.
- Multiple entries per entrant will be accepted.
- The competition will be drawn on 2 February 2021 by Council staff. Three winners will be drawn at random to receive the following prizes (total prize pool valued at $200):

- Winners’ parents will be contacted by telephone on 3 February 2021.
- Winners may be subsequently announced on the Libraries in Wyndham Facebook page (www.facebook.com/librariesinwyndham). You consent to publication of your child’s name in connection with the announcement of the competition winners.
- If a winner’s parent cannot be contacted by 5:00pm on 10 February 2021, Council may opt to a further draw to determine a new winner.
- If a prize has not been collected from a Wyndham City Libraries branch by 5:00pm on 24 February 2021, the winner will be deemed to have surrendered the prize and Council may opt to conduct a further draw to determine a new winner.
- Council may require a winner’s parent to provide evidence of the winner’s identity and/or that they are a member of Wyndham City Libraries. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a winner, Council reserves the right, in its entire discretion, to determine the identity of a winner.
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt submissions.
- If for any reason the competition cannot be run as planned, Council reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
- Council reserves the right to change or modify these conditions at any time.
- Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
