Try your hand at beading, papercraft, ceramics and lots more at Craft and Conversation! Learn new skills as you meet and chat with other crafters during this 2 hour session. Please note, this program is for adults only.

IT Classes

Wyndham City Libraries offer a range of free programs for adults to learn to use computers and digital devices.  

At every branch we hold:

  • Beginner's computer classes - for those who are new to computers.
  • Computer Q&A sessions - if you'd like a basic computer question answered.
  • iPad sessions - if you'd like to learn how to use an iPad.
  • One-on-one sessions - meet with one of our friendly IT staff to help you on a specific IT related topic.

Writing Groups

Are you an aspiring writer looking for like-minded people to share with and learn from? Come along to one of our monthly writing groups for adult writers of all levels of experience.

Mingle with fellow amateur poets, novelists, journalers, non-fiction writers and bloggers. Flesh out your characters and tie-up those dangling plot threads! Swap material with other writers, or even read your work aloud during these friendly and supportive sessions.

Share your skills, learn new ones and help make the world a comfier place at Yak and Yarn! Join us as we knit, crochet and chat. You can work on your own project or donate your handiwork to charity. We make blanket squares, baby clothes and other items to donate to KOGO (Knit One, Give One) and other charitable projects such as Aussies Knitting for War-Affected Kids (AWAK).
