Emerging Environmental Community Group Support Grant
Funding has been passed on from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) as part of the Caring for Our Local Environments initiative which aims to connect community with green spaces and biodiversity, by supporting local governments across metropolitan Melbourne, to provide leadership to NGOs and community environment groups.
Wyndham City has a small portion of funding available to support emerging environmental community groups within Wyndham that have a focus on flora and fauna and increasing Wyndham’s local biodiversity.
This grant will support new groups to promote their group and expand their membership or run events/workshops with a focus on local flora and fauna and support community environmental volunteering.
The Grant funding round is open to any emerging community group and non-profit entity within Wyndham.
Applications for the Emerging Environmental Community Group Support Grant are now open and must be received by 5pm Sunday 8 March 2020.

Community Garden Grant
Wyndham City has a small amount of funding available to support local Wyndham community garden groups to make improvement to/or expand their community garden or engage the broader community about sustainable gardening and/or expand membership to the community garden.
The Community Garden Grant is now closed – successful applicants will be notified end of January 2020.
