Wyndham Gallery_ Isthmus Exhibition_Event

Wyndham Art Gallery is closed as we invest in upgrade works to the Wyndham Cultural Centre. During this time, the gallery curators are seeking interest from artists and makers through an open call EoI (Expression of Interest) process to meet, learn, talk, and see your artistic practice. Westside artists from all practices and abilities are encouraged to apply.

Shortlisted artists will meet Wyndham Art Gallery curators in their studios, offices and online to see what artists and makers are currently creating and to learn about your practice.

If you are an artist living, studying, working or with strong connections to the west of Melbourne get in touch via the EOI form.

As curators in the West, we are always interested to know who is out there and what they are creating in all art forms with the view towards future exhibition and public programming events.

West of Melbourne is considered in any of the following councils: City of Wyndham, City of BrimbankCity of Hobsons BayCity of MaribyrnongCity of MeltonCity of Moonee Valley.

A bit about us:

Wyndham Art Gallery

Wyndham Art Gallery is a council run gallery in Wyndham City. Over the last 13 years, it has offered a curated program that reflects the diverse social and cultural character of Wyndham and invites the audience to explore new and challenging ideas.

Wyndham Art Gallery's programs and projects support the diverse community of Wyndham to see themselves reflected in the works exhibited. They aim to create a safe space for people of all cultures, genders, and abilities to participate in what the gallery offers.

Underlying these considerations is the ongoing commitment at the gallery to centre First Nations people, culture and knowledge and expand the community’s connection to place, generating a sense of belonging in the community and learning from Indigenous ways of relating to people and place.
