Place Patterns is a program of inter-related creative projects and arts interventions that ask questions about how we inhabit place.
Using the stories and demographic data generated through the 2040 Community Plan as a starting point, Place Patterns will invite Wyndham based artists to create public art interventions, exhibitions, performances and participatory projects.
Artists will be mentored by acclaimed Wadawurrung artist Bindi Cole Chocka, who has previously been an artist in residence at the Western Treatment Plant as well as exhibiting in Wyndham Art Gallery.
The intention of the program is to creatively produce new forms of knowledge about place, revealing more than data and demographics can.
This program is funded by Creative Victoria through the Creative Suburbs Funding Program.
