Coming soon … an exciting new public outdoor space for the Werribee City Centre’s West End precinct.
Located at the front of the Wyndham Cultural Centre, it will feature a floor-level deck with innovative repurposed containers, seating and greenery.
Neon lights will also make the space come to life in the evening, creating a fun, playful vibe.
Demolition work and construction will begin in late July as we work to bring this new space to life. The former Raffael’s annex will be demolished as part of the works.
This exciting space has been designed as a place for people to meet and catch up while also providing a welcoming entrance to the Wyndham Cultural Centre, Wyndham Art Gallery and Werribee Library.
Council is also working with a local business operator to launch a new 12-month pop-up version of MADE on Watton on site, which will offer a destination for the West’s artists and creatives to showcase and sell their works, and host creative workshops.
The space is expected to open to the public in September, and we wait to show you what we have in store!
This is one of many Council projects aimed at bringing people back to our much-loved town centres and shopping strips and ensuring our businesses can bounce back from the pandemic as quickly and as safely as possible.
