Let’s Share is a pop-up shared zone that has re-purposed part of the Greaves St South Werribee Road to create a 3km for cycling, walking and scooting while socially distancing.
The pop-up trial will be in place for approximately 5 months.
The shared zone is on the western side of Greaves St South in the parking and cycling lane and the existing traffic lanes remain operational, with the speed limit lowered to 25kph. The loop also includes Melanie Drive and Tesron Court where the speed limit will be dropped to 20kph.
The loop connects to the Werribee River shared path, the adjacent Chirnside Park and access to Werribee City Centre.
We’ve made it uniquely Wyndham with vibrant decals that pay homage to the nearby Werribee River and park precinct. Linking to the location and meaning for Let’s Share are pebble decals that feature symbols of cycling, walking, wheelchairs and symbolise the neighbourhood. The use of waves at intersections represent the ebb and flow of the River which flows into the ocean – the backbone of our City.
