Parklife – the life of the park, coming to a park near you!

We are bringing the family fun and entertainment to YOUR local park! In a series of 6 family fun filled weekends look out for the Parklife roadshow coming to your local park during March and April.

Saturdays are for music and theatre with; The Mik Maks, The Kazoos, The Mexican Music Man and The Bandicoots Show.

Sundays are for movies, but its not all kicking back and relaxing, it’s also a chance to SING!

Bring the family, pack a picnic or some snacks, there will be a coffee van there to look after all of your caffeine and iced chocolate needs!

Just bring the crew and we’ll bring the entertainment, hope to see you at Parklife!

What’s On? Every Saturday will be a live kid friendly act, see the table above for what’s on near you. Every Sunday will be a family friendly movie. The entertainment starts at 2pm and will finish at approximately 4 pm.

Is it free? Yes! Parklife is a free series of events run by Wyndham City Council.

Do I need a ticket? No you do not require a ticket to attend Parklife, but you will be required to check in with a QR code on your phone when you arrive.

What time do I arrive? The official program will start at 2pm but you are welcome to arrive from 1.30pm.

How do I get there? Is there parking? This event is being held in local parks so we recommend going to your closest one where you can probably walk or ride to. If you do need to drive, there will be limited parking available in surrounding streets.

What are the rules around children? Can I bring them to the event? Yes, Parklife is for families with children. Please make sure you supervise your children at all time.You can pick up a ID wrist band for your child at the event info table.

Will there be toilets? Yes, each park will have toilets including accessible units with baby change facilities.

Can I bring food? Yes! You are welcome to BYO food and drinks, there will be onsite snacks available for purchase with cashless facilities. BYO alcohol is NOT permitted.

Is there water available? Some of the park locations have water taps, but some do not, please bring your own water bottle to be sure.

Can I bring my dog? Yes, you can, but please ensure it is supervised at all times and remains on a lead. Please clean up after your dog.

Will it run if it is raining or hot? Please come prepared for all weather. If we determine the weather is extreme the events may be cancelled for safety. We will endeavour to communicate any cancellation via Wyndham City’s social media pages.

What are the rules about being CovidSafe?

Current Victoria State Government restrictions apply. Please visit the COVIDSafe tab for further details.

Anyone refusing to obey the restrictions outlined above or the direction of staff or management will be asked to leave.

Conditions of Entry

Parklife is a series of free sessions hosted by Wyndham City Council.  Attendees must comply with the Conditions of Entry below so that everyone can enjoy Parklife  in safety and comfort.


Attendees must comply with all current Victorian Government COVID-19 restrictions.  Attendees are requested to check in using the QR code for contact tracing purposes.

Alcohol and smoking

Alcohol and smoking are not permitted at Parklife.


Food will be available for purchase at Parklife.  BYO food is permitted.


Live streaming or broadcasting of Parklife  is not permitted.  Commercial photography is not permitted without prior permission from Council.


Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Pets and animals

Dogs are permitted at Parklife provided that they are on a lead and supervised by their owner at all times.  Owners must pick up after their dogs.  All other pets and animals are not permitted at Parklife.

Advertising and the sale or hire of Goods

Attendees are not permitted to sell or offer for sale or hire any items, nor to distribute handbills, pamphlets, notices or other advertising materials, without prior permission from Council.

Anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour is prohibited.  Parklife  is intended to be family friendly, safe and comfortable for all attendees.  Council requires that attendees behave in a safe, responsible and courteous manner at all times.

Free activities

Attendees are responsible for deciding whether an activity or movie is suitable for them and/or their children to  watch and or participate in.

Be SunSmart

It is recommended that attendees take proper SunSmart precautions at Parklife, including using sunscreen, wearing a hat and staying hydrated.


Attendees are responsible for all personal property taken to Parklife and must not leave their property unattended.  Council reserves the right to remove any property left unattended at Parklife.

Consent in relation to images and photographs

By entering Parklife, attendees consent to the capturing and publishing of their image in authorised promotional photos and videos in whatever format and forum Council chooses.


Attendees must follow any reasonable direction given by a Council officer, authorised event security personnel or Police.

Right to refuse entry

Council reserves the right to refuse entry to those who do not comply with these Conditions of Entry.

Cancellation and/or modification of event

Council reserves the right to cancel and/or modify any of the Parklife sessions.  Cancellations and modifications will be advised via Council’s website ( and the Wyndham City and Experience Wyndham Facebook pages.

Failure to Comply with Conditions of Entry

Failure to comply with these Conditions of Entry may result in an attendee being removed from Parklife and refused re-entry to Parklife and/or future Council events.

Changes to these conditions

Council reserves the right to change these Conditions of Entry at any time.


Attendance at and/or participation in activities at Parklife  is entirely at the risk of attendees. To the extent permitted by law, Council accepts no liability for any claim for loss, harm, damage, costs or expenses which may arise as a consequence of any such attendance at and/or participation in  Parklife.

COVIDSafe Checklist


Any restrictions or regulations will be in place in accordance with the current Victoria State Government guidelines available at the DHHS website.

These include but are not limited to:

  • If you have any cold-like symptoms, including a runny nose, sore throat, chills, fever, lack of taste or smell, do not come to Parklife. Please get tested or see your Doctor.
  • To assist with contact tracing all visitors will be required to scan the QR codes on entry and fill-in the corresponding online form. Only one adult per household group is required to check in.
  • As the event is held outdoors, visitors are not required to wear a mask except where physical distancing cannot be maintained. Visitors are required to carry a mask at all times.
  • Frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitiser is encouraged. Facilities will be provided onsite.
  • Please remain in social group numbers no greater than current guidelines.

We have determined the capacity of each venue based on current Victoria State Government guidelines and in the unlikely event the park reaches capacity levels further admissions will not be permitted.

Voluntary download of the COVIDSafe app is recommended.
