If you live or work in Wyndham and have some ideas about what Council should focus on for the next financial year, make sure you have your say on the 2019/20 Annual Plan and Budget.
Wyndham City is currently in the early stages of developing the draft Annual Plan and Budget and there are lots of ways for the community to get involved.
Community conversations sessions with local Councillors will be taking place in each ward throughout December 2018, giving residents the opportunity to share their feedback and get an insight into the planning process.
Residents can also share their ideas online by visiting Council’s community engagement platform, The Loop, by Friday 14th December, 2018, and visit this page to stay informed and further opportunities to contribute between now and June 2019.
Wyndham City Mayor, Cr Peter Maynard, encouraged residents to have their say.
“Council’s Annual Plan and Budget is one of the most important ways that we plan for the immediate future of our City,” Cr Maynard said.
“It sets up how we will invest in our municipality and the direction we will head for the next 12 months.”
“By sharing your feedback and insight with us, you can help to ensure that this process reflects your values and priorities.
“As the people we work to represent every single day, nothing could be more important than hearing directly from you as we plan for the year ahead.”
The community conversation sessions will be held on:
- Thursday 6th December 2018, 6pm – 8pm, Eagle Stadium, 35 Ballan Rd, Werribee
- Monday 10th December 2018, 6pm – 8pm, Saltwater Community Centre, 153 Saltwater Promenade, Point Cook
- Wednesday 12th December 2018, 6pm – 8pm, Tarneit Library, 150 Sunset Views Boulevard, Tarneit.
