Wyndham City is proud to announce Eve Paesler as its One Wyndham recipient for August.

Eve is passionate about volunteering and helping young people. She volunteers at a range of Youth events in Wyndham and also helps out at the Youth Resource Centre in Hoppers Crossing.

She has been involved and volunteered her time with the Wyndham ‘FReeZa committee’ for the past four years.

Currently studying VET in sound production and with a passion for live music events, Eve aspires to be part of a big band and tour Australia and the world.

Wyndham Mayor Cr Peter Maynard said: “Eve is a wonderful example of a young local volunteer that shows true dedication and willingness to help the community.”

“Wyndham City appreciates Eve’s contribution to our community and thanks her for the work she does at the Youth Resource Centre and the wider community.”

Through volunteering, Eve has had the opportunity to gain an insight and connect with young people from all walks of life and to listen to their stories and experiences.

One Wyndham recipients are residents aged between 12 and 25 who positively contribute to the Wyndham community and are role models to other young people.

Each month Council selects a Wyndham resident to be awarded the ‘Young Person of the Month’.

Winners are awarded a $300 gift voucher of their choice and are featured for the month.
