2022 National NAIDOC logo

Celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history at the Library from 3–10 July.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. Come along for an Aboriginal Story Time where Aboriginal educator Eva Jo Edwards will share some traditional contemporary First Nations stories, or hear Larissa Behrendt in Conversation where she invites us to gain fresh perspectives and a deeper understanding of Indigenous culture and heritage.

Find suggested books that inspire and inform the theme of NAIDOC Week 2022, Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! on our catalogue - we've got lists for adults and for young people.
