In partnership with Pelligra-Citinova, Wyndham City has transformed a ground-level car park at the corner of Synnot Street and Duncans Road in Werribee into a premium development featuring a brand-new Holiday Inn, high-end restaurant with stunning views, almost 4,000 square metres of office space, and ground level retail and hospitality space.
The 150-room Holiday Inn will open its doors on 16 July and is the anchor tenant in the new 12-storey Hunter development, which will make Werribee’s City Centre a more vibrant and exciting place to be for residents, workers and visitors.
The hotel is only minutes away from some of Wyndham’s biggest tourism attractions, including the Werribee Open Range Zoo, Victoria State Rose Garden and Werribee Park and Mansion, making it the perfect place to stay for your next holiday, staycation or business trip. Head to the Visit Werribee and Surrounds website for inspiration for your next day out or trip: www.visitwerribee.com/
The development also features Wyndham City’s new multi-storey public car park, which will open on 2 August. The car park features 167 undercover spaces with free three-hour parking for Werribee City Centre visitors and workers – more than double the number of spaces that were previously available.
The Hunter building will deliver more employment, boost liveability and tourism to the area, increase car parking, and strengthen the local economy.
Council’s Social and Economic Inclusion team worked closely with the Holiday Inn to recruit local employees, creating more jobs in Werribee’s City Centre for the Wyndham community.
