Privacy Collection Statement

Your personal information and that of your nominee is being collected by Council for the purpose of recognising and promoting people as part of the Litter Legends Awards. Your personal information will be stored in Council’s Customer Database and your and your nominee’s information will be used and disclosed in accordance with the Litter Legends Terms and Conditions. By submitting your nomination you confirm that you have the consent of the nominee to provide their personal information and a photograph of them to Council. Litter Legends Nomination Terms and Conditions

By submitting a nomination to the Litter Legends program (‘program’), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with any relevant program information, e.g. the nomination form and any program information published by Council.

NOMINATIONS
To nominate yourself or a person for the program, you must submit a properly completed nomination form at https://www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/litterlegends. Nominations which are incomplete or which do not comply with these terms and conditions will not be accepted.

NOMINEES
2.1 Nominees must live, work, study or socialise in Wyndham. Council staff, Councillors and their immediate family members are ineligible for nomination.
2.2 If you are aged under 18 years of age, you must have your parent/legal guardian’s consent to submit a nomination. You acknowledge and agree that Council may contact your parent/legal guardian using the details provided in your nomination form to confirm that consent has been provided.
2.3 If you are nominating someone other than yourself as a Litter Legend, you must obtain the nominee’s prior consent (or the consent of their parent/legal guardian where the nominee is aged under 18 years of age) to submit the nomination.
2.4 If you upload a photograph of the nominee as part of your nomination:
(a) you must obtain the nominee’s prior consent (or the consent of their parent/legal guardian where the nominee is aged under 18 years of age) to submit the photograph;
(b) you warrant that the photograph you provide does not infringe another person’s copyright or intellectual property rights; and
(c) you grant Council a perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable and royalty-free licence to use and publish that photograph (in whole or in part) in connection with announcing and promoting the nominee’s participation in the program.
2.5 You agree to immediately notify Council of any changes to your nomination, including the request to withdraw a nomination, by emailing wastewise@wyndham.vic.gov.au.

ASSESSEMENT OF NOMINATIONS
Council will assess all nominations received. Successful nominees will be contacted and required to confirm their acceptance of a Litter Legend nomination.

GENERAL
4.1 Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, invalid or corrupt nominations.
4.2 If for any reason, the program cannot be run as planned, Council reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the program.
4.3 Council’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
