Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for vacant positions on the Learning City Portfolio Committee.

Council’s twelve Portfolio Committees provide an opportunity for residents to work with Councillors, Council staff and subject matter experts to provide input into key priority areas for Wyndham.

Key focus areas for the Learning City Portfolio Committee include improving learning opportunities and outcomes across all life stages  for everyone in Wyndham.  During this four-year term, the activities of the Committee have included providing strategic advice and assistance to develop Council’s Learning Community Strategy 2018-2023 which specifies actions about the priority skills of learning agility; literacy, numeracy and language; digital fundamentals & new media; civics; and employability and leadership.

The Committee is chaired by Councillor Josh Gilligan.

Portfolio Committee members will be selected based on their subject knowledge, skills, experience and interest.
