Wyndham City’s Civic Centre Function Rooms are available for hire by not-for profit community groups and organisations where there is demonstrated community benefit. It may be necessary to limit events by organisations which are of community benefit to one per calendar year to ensure there is equity of usage among the groups. These rooms are NOT available for hire for social functions such as birthday parties, weddings, christenings etc.
These rooms include 4 rooms (all of which can be opened into 1 large Function Room), as well as the 3 smaller rooms located on the walkway (south side of the Centre). Bookings can be made of all of the rooms or for individual rooms as required.
A kitchenette for tea and coffee is available in each of the Function Rooms. Tea and Coffee and other refreshments can be made available on request. Wyndham City will provide for any catering needs. Prices are subject to menu selections made by the hirer.
Any catering requirements will be managed and or provided by Wyndham City’s in-house catering and functions staff. The Functions and Catering Team Leader will have the discretion to engage others or sub contract the service to meet the demands required. Hirers wishing to engage external caterers to provide for their meetings will require the permission of the Functions & Catering Team Leader as conditions will apply. The Civic Centre Function Rooms are available day or evening, Monday – Friday, dependent on Wyndham City’s organised events and meetings booked. Bookings will not be taken on public holidays or weekends.
