Please note: when accessing our online databases from home, you will need to have your Library barcode number handy. This number is used to verify you are a Library member and grant you access to the resource.

Gale Health & Wellness
Contains articles from 2,200 publications, 70% full text. Extra content includes links to selected health websites, Health assessment tools,Health News (current to the present week), comprehensive multimedia library on selected topics. The interface is clear & user friendly as is the results display, where general reference information suitable for the layperson is listed first. Professional level information is generally found in the journal articles under a separate tab. Drug information is also listed separately under Pharmacy. Articles have a Table of Contents, bibliography & Glossary.
Gale Science Resource Centre
Reference material from 58 titles including the Gale Encyclopedia of Science and the UXL Encyclopedia of Science, over 200 full text magazines and academic journals, links to 500 websites and 8000 multimedia records.

EBSCO Consumer Health Complete
Full text includes 286 journals, 1065 pamphlets & 129 reference books. The homepage has a Quick Find option & Topic Guides. The Results display defaults to reference sources, but the more current information more suited to the layperson is generally in the Health Reports which you would not see if you didn't select that tab. Drug information is always listed first. There is a Visual Search option (grokker)
EBSCO ANZ Reference Centre
Covers journals, encyclopedias and newspapers. Includes fairfax publications, but not leader newspapers
EBSCO Masterfile
EbscoHost provides access to information from numerous periodicals, newspapers, image collections, and reference materials. Users can search from a comprehensive database or specific subject databases that better suit their needs. It is even possible to conduct a search in more than one database at the same time. Databases include: Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia, Newspaper Source, Health Source Plus, Business Source Elite, Middle Search Plus and Primary Search And More!

World Book Online
This well known student encyclopedia is updated daily and features current world event information as well as an atlas and dictionary. Great for school projects.
Fiction Connection
Use Fiction Connection to locate fiction suggestions based on a title that you already enjoy. Or, take advantage of the broad category search featuring topic, genre, setting, character, location, and timeframe.
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online
Britannica Online Library Edition offers an integrated search on the full Encyclopædia Britannica database, plus Britannica Student Encyclopedia and Britannica Junior Encyclopedia, which have an easier comprehension level. The search results also show over 150 Journals and Magazines plus the Britannica Internet Guide, with links to over 200,000 sites that have been reviewed by Britannica.
Gulliver - the virtual library
Gulliver is a collection of databases that has over 21,000 resources including full-text journals, books, newspapers and pictures. Use your library card number to gain access from home or visit the library to use this resource.
Directory of Open Access Journals
This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals.
Local area references
Use this section to search through the Local History Database, Community Profile and Wyndham/Werribee Heritage Project.
Newspapers
Libraries contain current and archive copies of local and daily newspapers.
Statistics
The Wyndham library service is a member of the ABS library Extension Program.
Car Manuals
Heaths Road Library maintains an extensive range of car repair manuals. These manuals cannot be borrowed, but are always available for use within the library
