The Victorian Community History Awards recognise excellence in historical method and is proudly sponsored by Information Victoria.
The various categories acknowledge that history can be told in many and varied formats with the aim of reaching and enriching all Victorians.
These Awards encompass a $5000 first prize and six $1000 prizes for the finalists of each category.
Categories are:
- Best Collaborative / Community Work
- Best Print / Publication
- Best Audio-Visual / Multimedia
- Best Exhibit / Display
- Best Walk / Tour
- Best Community Research, Registers and Records
