Ordinary Council Meeting
Ordinary Council Meetings are held every fortnight on Mondays starting at 7pm at the Salvation Army Corps (formerly Silver Birches Reception Centre), 211 Watton Street, Werribee. Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings.
Special Council Meetings are also occasionally scheduled for urgent matters or for the annual election of the Mayor. These meetings are also open to the public.
At Ordinary Meetings, Councillors vote on recommendations included in reports prepared by Council officers, propose motions, accept petitions from the community and answer written questions with notice from the public gallery.
The meetings consider items relating to financial matters, planning permit applications, Council policy, contractual and tender evaluation issues and Council staffing issues.
Agendas for Council Meetings
Agendas for Council Meetings are available from the morning of each meeting. Copies of the Agenda are available from the Civic Centre, or can be downloaded from this page on the day of the meeting.
