Wyndham Water Action Plan

The Wyndham Water Action Plan provides a context for the issues of water conservation and water quality in Wyndham.  It sets directions for Council action regarding Council and community water consumption as well as the quality of local waterways.

The Plan was developed with consultation across Council as well as with City West Water, Melbourne Water and the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI).  Following a one month period of public exhibition, input was also received from a number of local environment groups including Parks Victoria, Werribee River Association, Werribee Waterways Management Committee (Riverrun), and the Friends of Skeleton Creek.

Financial assistance was also provided by Melbourne Water through the Sustainable Water Use Plans Program.
