Under Local Law 11, Part 4 an owner or occupier of premises abutting a road must not:
- allow any flora on the premises to grow in such a manner that it interferes with a pedestrian or driver using the road obtaining a clear view of another pedestrian or vehicle on the road; or
- allow any part of any flora on the premises to overhang a road at a height of less than 3 metres; or so as to be likely to cause injury, inconvenience or annoyance to any person using the road.
If there are any noxious weeds within the meaning of the Catchment and Land Protection Act 1994 on premises the Council may direct the owner or occupier of the premises by written notice to destroy those weeds.
