The Wyndham Family Violence Action Plan is a whole of community plan that will be overseen by the Wyndham Family Violence Committee (WFVC) and involve the commitment of various government and non-government agencies to implement initiatives in the Wyndham area.
The goal of the Wyndham Family Violence Action Plan 2005 – 2006 is:
To identify local family violence issues and develop a series of effective actions that will work towards decreasing the incidence and impact of violence in the family and building community resilience.
The WFVC is responsible for the implementation of the Plan. The Plan is based around issues identified from police and agency data and has been developed in partnership with relevant local service providers.
