The Wyndham Hoon/Police Anonymous Line co-ordinated by Werribee Police in partnership with Wyndham Council, provides residents with an anonymous, 24 hour hotline to report local safety concerns, especially reckless driving and anti-social behaviour.

By working together, all Wyndham residents can play a leading role in addressing safety issues within the municipality.

What can be reported on the line?

  • Incidences of excessive speeding and road rage;
  • Burn-outs and reckless driving;
  • Loud music/disturbing the peace;
  • Drug related activities;
  • Property damage.graffiti; and
  • Other offences such as illegal trail/mini bike riding.

How To Use The Wyndham Hotline

  1. Take down all the known details of the offender, the car, the time, and any damaged caused using the form on this brochure.
  2. Ring the Wyndham Hotline - 9742 9466 at any time.  This hotline is a recorded message which allows you to leave details and contact name and phone number.
  3. Provide all the details of the incident you have witnessed on the answering machine.
  4. After making a report you may be contacted by Police if they wish to clarify or seek further information.  If you leave your contact details, Police can also provide an update as to the progess of the issue.

Information from the Hoon Hotline will be downloaded each day and acted upon immediately.
