This report outlines strategies for the sustainable economic development and employment growth in Melbourne’s Western Region.
The report was commissioned by Melbourne’s North & West Area Consultative Committee and undertaken by the National Institute of Economic and Industry Research with the support of the six western region councils, the Department of Innovation, Industry & Regional Development and the Department of Transport and Regional Services.
Demographics, resident workforce changes, employment growth and broad social and economic trends are included in the report.
