Arndell Park Community Centre Turns 1
Truganina residents are being invited to help blow out the candles in Arndell Park Community Centre’s birthday cake, with a family fun day planned to celebrate.
Plenty of activities have been planned including:
- Jumping castle;
- Live Music;
- Face painting;
- Games;
- Performances;
- Cookie decorating;
- Arts and crafts.
Truganina Ward Councillor Bob Fairclough said the day would attract families from across the municipality.
“Not only is the Family Fun Day a great way of having some fun with your family, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to visit the Arndell Park Community Centre and find out what activities are going on,” Cr Fairclough said.
“Arndell Park Community Centre has been extremely popular since it first opened its doors a year ago, with a number of programs and services running from maternal and child health to cooking classes. It’s also adjacent to the Arndell Park soccer pitches, which will create a fantastic community hub with sporting, health and education facilities side by side.”
“There will be some exciting demonstrations from those who use the Centre, including Tae Kwan Do, music and dance groups.”
“I encourage residents to come along and familiarise themselves with the Centre and its programs and have some fun with the family.”
The Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, 18th February from 10am to 2pm. For more information email arndellparkcc@wyndham.vic.gov.au or contact 8734 8911.
