Truganina Ward
The Truganina Ward is situated in the north-eastern corner of the municipality. It incorporates industrial precincts in Laverton and Laverton North, commercial and residential areas in Hoppers Crossing and residential and rural areas in Truganina, Tarneit and Mount Cottrell.
The rapidly expanding suburb of Point Cook and future residential area of Williams Landing are also located in Truganina. The ward is home to the West Point business park and Port Phillip Prison.
In October 2008 there was an estimated 31,760 voters living in the Truganina Ward.
