Chirnside Park Oval Precinct Redevelopment
The Chirnside Park Oval Precinct located on Watton Street in Werribee is Wyndham’s only regional sporting venue suitable for elite level sport.
Wyndham City contracted Brand Architects and Simon Leisure Consulting to undertake a review of the current facilities at Chirnside Park Oval and provide recommendations for the short to medium term upgrade of the sites facilities, and the long term development of regional and elite level cricket and Australian Rules football within Wyndham.
Following a thorough stakeholder consultation two concepts have been put forward for consideration by the Wyndham community and stakeholders. The proposed concept plans for the redevelopment of the Chirnside Park Oval Precinct will be on public exhibition from the 11th January till the 8th February 2012 at the Civic Centre, 45 Princes Hwy, Werribee or from the below links.

The concepts differ with one concept simply providing improved facilities for the tenant Clubs, and the second concept providing the opportunity to explore a more comprehensive option which could include commercial ventures.
