Over 390 guests celebrated in style at the 21st Anniversary Wyndham Business Awards held last Friday evening at the Wyndham Cultural Centre.

Congratulations to ebm-papst A&NZ who were announced as the Business of the Year. ebm-papst is a 25 year old Australasian based manufacturer and distributor of market leading fans and motors. Through their head office in Laverton North, the company supplies high efficiency fans and motors to original equipment manufacturers and engineers who wish to upgrade their air movement systems.
All products supplied to the market whether they are made locally or abroad, are locally engineered to provide the optimum solution to the Australian end user. Boris completed a commercialisation strategy for Mainstream Aquaculture in which a profitable business platform was created from a highly innovative, research and development focused business. This resulted in Mainstream making the BRW's fast 100 company list in 2014.
Boris is a valued committee member of numerous organisations at both state and local levela. Boris was recently awarded the prestigious young CEO of the year award from the Financial Review, reinforcing the high calibre at which he operates.

Beginning from a tiny kitchen in the back of a Werribee home as a part time operation in late 2007, Mondells Patisserie is a great story of home grown success. At a very early stage Mondells outgrew their home base and moved to a factory in Lock Avenue before opening their Watton Street factory and shop front café and patisserie in 2013.
Whilst the tempting offering of cakes, biscuits and pastries have become well known to many local residents and visitors, perhaps what is less known is the market penetration the company enjoys at a corporate level, supplying to major hospitality chains, conference and entertainment venues and international airlines.
