What is Advocacy

Advocacy aims to influence those who hold governmental, political and economic power to implement public policies and projects that benefit Wyndham residents and services.

 

Wyndham City undertakes a variety of advocacy campaigns - a long term set of activities that include research, planning and direct actions - and then monitor and evaluate their outcomes.

 

Wyndham City will engage and work with our residents, community organisations and other stakeholders in our advocacy campaigns.

 

Advocacy is often a part of the planning and development of hundreds of programs and services for Wyndham residents and businesses.  As such, not all our advocacy efforts and actions will be on this site.
